The Cardinal year for 2025 is over and Comrade Manzi has handed over to Steve Eastman<\/strong> for 2026. \u00a0Steve’26 is keeping everyone in suspense over his “C” name, not to mention the shirts for 2026.<\/p>

At the start of the year Su Ann and Kinglsey went to Alumni status and during the year said goodbye to A-A-Ron who returned to the US of A and we welcomed Tristan. \u00a0We had JW and Jesper spend more time out of country than in it and with Cardinal’s usual commitments we were on average 5 flights a week.<\/p>

Our first contest of the year was the Pairs and the winners were Matt P and Cookie<\/strong> who defeated last year’s reigning champs Jimmy and Kimmy 1Up.<\/p>

Next came the Challenge Cup over the Ryder Cup weekend which was won by the ROW<\/strong> team captained by Comrade Manzi 6 points to EUR team captained by Nico 4 points. \u00a0The Captains for 2026 are Cookie and Big Olli.<\/p>

Tour this year was in Hua Hin and the cup for the weekend was won by Buffy and his “Buffers Fluffers”.<\/p>

As the year came to a close we got the Singles finished after our end of year Christmas Party and the winner was Big Olli<\/strong> who defeated Buffy 1Up.<\/p>

We kept it straight forward in 2025 with league points coming from the weekly stableford only. \u00a0And our winner for 2025 was Christopher Brankin<\/strong>. \u00a0Well done Branks, no amateurs for the year and a consistent scoring year with one of the highest average stableford points per week.<\/p>

The last round of the year was won by C4, the esteemed Grumpy Santa Stableford, and we settled the end of year divisions with the following winners:
A Div: Buffy<\/strong>
B Div: C4<\/strong>
C Div: JW<\/strong><\/p>
